The main guitar riff for “Find The Cure” came to me surprisingly faster than most other songs that I’ve written. It was really fun to play the lead parts so I never thought of any revisions that I needed to make like I do with other songs. Everyone helped out with the breakdowns and the chunky parts. The drums hit hard nicely and there are good fills everywhere. We probably played the song twice and Brad made it perfect. The bass slaps; keeps the song nice and groovy.
Lyrics
Speaking on behalf of the integrity of the human race, this song talks about how we kick ourselves when we are down instead of brushing off the dust and getting back on the horse. It’s an influential message to make something of ourselves and make this world a better place. Dane knocked it out of the park lyrically. He busted it out in a couple days it seems like. This is one of my favorite songs that we have made so far!
